Setup Trimble RTK GPS system for use in field experiments for automating the row travel of an automated skid steer style rover for specialty crop imaging. Retrofit this robot to be used with the Trimble RTK system which involved re-writing labview virtual instruments such that they would accept and properly parse desired GPS sentences for later use in a path planning algorithm. Improved sampling accuracy by increasing the sampling frequency in the Trimble RTK system to its maximum frequency of 10 hertz. Also retrofit this same robot to be used with the Arrow gold RTK GPS system which can achieve even greater frequencies.
